To celebrate 50 years of the most important amateur cycling race in Italy, the Granfondo Nove Colli, Cesenatico will host a stage of the Giro d'Italia after 10 years.

Cesenatico will be already celebrating 50 years of Granfondo Nove Colli, the most important amateur cycling race in Italy, when the Giro d’Italia arrives there.
It’s not a normal arrival, but a sensational event: the group will depart and arrive at Cesenatico. In this way a ‘double party’ will take place, 50th edition of Nove Colli and 12th stage of the Giro d’Italia 2020, on the same track of the most ancient and famous Granfondo in Europe.
The cyclists will ride 205 km of Granfondo Nove Colli in Romagna, cycling across the nine hills 200 km from the sea to the mountain and return.
The tour will cover a height of 3840 meters in a route 89 km long, made of up- and downhills.
So many cyclists and people fond of sport will see their dream come true: the 50th edition of Nove Colli on  24th May 2020 will follow this prestigious stage of the Giro 2020, a special homage to the passion of cycling in honour of the unforgettable champion Marco Pantani born in Cesenatico
