From 22 to 25 April Cesenatico becomes the Italian capital of the fish cooking with a gastronomic event whose purpose is to improve the consumption of a resource of our land

From the 22nd to the 25th of April 2016 Cesenatico hosts the 16th edition of  “Azzurro come il pesce”, a culinary event where we enhance the fish of the Adriatic Sea and the high quality of our restaurants.

Stands organized by fishermen’s associations, voluntary associations and the restaurant owners associations will be placed through the harbour-canal and the inner centre of the town. The chefs will prepare some local dishes like fish skewers, mixed fried Adriatic fish, passatelli pasta in fish broth, using only fresh fish from the Adriatic Sea.

The organizers committed to promote the local product and a document with the fish species admitted has been drawn in order to avoid the imported one.

“Azzurro come il pesce” is an event organized by the Municipality of Cesenatico with Confesercenti, A.RI.CE, Confcommercio and the support of Gesturist Cesenatico SPA

For the occasion Cesenatico Turismo offers a special hotel package that includes accommodation in 3 star hotels with breakfast, entrance to the Maritime Museum of Cesenatico, meal vouchers for the gastronomic stands at € 99,00 per person for 2 nights and € 119, 00 per person for 3 nights.
